Census of Juveniles on Probation

Over a 4-year period, Luminosa developed and managed all electronic systems used in the first nationwide collection of individual juvenile offenders on probation for the US Department of Justice’s Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention and the George Mason University Department of Criminology.

For his work on this multi-year project, Luminosa principal Jack Chirieleison received the University of Cincinnati Award in Corrections from the American Probation and Parole Association. This award is given annually by probation and parole officers nationwide to the one person from outside the corrections field who made the year’s outstanding contribution to the profession.
