NLM International Programs Archive
Collaborating directly with the section chief, Luminosa designed, developed and maintained an intranet to hold copies of every document and media item generated by the Office of International Programs at NIH’s National Library of Medicine. The projects included the development of MIMCom, the first satellite/internet network built to connect malaria researchers across sub-Saharan Africa.
The archive contained documents, more than 10,000 photographs, long-form video interviews and over 200 presentations as well as interactive tutorials, spreadsheets and benchmark analysis. It now resides as a self-contained, permanent research resource in the History of Medicine division of the National Library of Medicine.
